Dependent Child Visa (subclass 445)
The Dependent Child Visa (subclass 445) is designed to allow dependent children of temporary visa holders in Australia to remain in the country while their parent's application for a permanent partner visa (subclass 100 or 801) is being processed. To be eligible for the Dependent Child Visa 445, certain criteria must be met.
The Dependent Child Visa 445 allows the child to stay in Australia for the duration of their parent's permanent partner visa processing period. If the parent's permanent partner visa is granted, the child can transition to the corresponding permanent visa (subclass 100 or 801) along with their parent.
